Let’s End the Year With Steamy Reads and Smiles!

Happy Holidays Reader,

This December has run away from me. I'd planned to take this week completely off but I'm still working on Rockstar Regret. Somehow I will binge read all the books this week, but I'll do it working on a little a day on Rockstar Regret.

I'm so close. I can almost taste it.

I mean it's already been an amazing holiday season just because Passionflix released Kylie Scott's Lick in film format. The soundtrack is SO good and it's already given endless laughter in my house...

My father walked in while my mother and I were watching it on the big TV. He kept going back and forth between the kitchen and the more he did it the tenser I got.

This film is 🔥. It's as NSFW as you'd hope a steamy romance novel adaptation would be.

So we get to the alley scene and I know what's coming and the damn man is still doing his dance, only this time he's right next to the TV.

Just as I say "this is the worst timing," David rips Ev's underwear off.

My father shots out of the room while I and my mother cackle in absolute delight.

He's been calling our books porn for a week as a result 🤣.

Honestly, I was shocked at how good it is. I do remember the days of terrible acting/filming at Passionflix so I was wary but they did such a good job.

Then to make the most of my one month subscription, I went on to watch Amy Daws Wait With Me and that was equally good. I've got my fingers crossed hard for them to make Play. The actor they cast for Mal has incredible puppy dog eyes, I need to see him in full manic Play mode.

I'll be listening to the soundtrack for the rest of the week I expect. I've already watched it twice and started a reread of Play.

I think that's me for this week. I'm not sure I'll get an email out before the end of the year. So see you in 2025.
