Audrey Harper turned the spotlight on me

Hello Reader,

It's release week and while I'm a bag of nerves, I thought we should take a nice little break from all things Morganaverse and just chat. No sales, no book updates — just me, sharing some of the daydreams that have been keeping me sane lately.

I’ve been home in Wales for a few months now, and while it’s been lovely, I’ve definitely got the travel itch. Of course, some health stuff has kept me grounded for now, but that hasn’t stopped me from dreaming — and making lists!

Here are some of the adventures I’ve been daydreaming about lately. Each one’s tied to something I love, whether it’s music, writing, or just soaking up the magic of a new place:

1. Attend 8123 Fest

This one’s been on my radar for ages. It’s a music festival hosted by The Maine, one of my favourite bands, and it’s held in sunny Arizona. Live music, good vibes, and incredible memories? Yes, please.

2. Live in Florence, Italy (Even for a Little While)

Florence has always enchanted me — not just for its art and architecture, but for its sheer sense of history. Walking the same streets where the Medici once reigned, where Renaissance ideas shaped the world, and where every building whispers a story? It feels like a city that could inspire endless creativity and connection to the past.

3. See the Northern Lights

This one’s a classic for a reason. Watching the auroras dance across the sky in Iceland or Norway feels like something you’d remember forever — and the creativity that would flow afterward? Unmatched.

4. Attend a Jane Austen Ball in Bath

I’d love to step back in time for an evening and attend one of the Jane Austen Festival balls in Bath. Wearing a Regency gown, dancing to live period music, and pretending I’m Elizabeth Bennet? Absolute dream.

5. Watch a Formula 1 Race in Person

My interest in F1 is new, but I’d love to experience the thrill of a live Grand Prix race. The sound of the engines, the adrenaline in the air, and the chance to see the world’s best drivers in action—it’s the kind of once-in-a-lifetime experience I’d never forget.

What about you? Do you have any adventures you’re dreaming about? Or a place you’ve been that you’d revisit in a heartbeat? Hit reply and let me know—I’d love to hear about your dream escapes.

Happy Reading!

An Exclusive Interview with Morgana Bevan

If you’ve been following my New Hollywood bonus content, you’ll know Audrey Harper — tabloid journalist extraordinaire who writes the juiciest (and occasionally snarkiest) articles about my characters.

Well, this time, I’m turning Audrey loose on me. Here’s what happened when Audrey got to ask me some fun questions:

Let’s kick this off with something simple — what’s the first book you read that made you want to travel somewhere?
Labyrinth by Kate Mosse. The way she described Carcassonne in France cemented it in my mind when I was fourteen. It felt like stepping into another world. I might finally get to visit this summer.

What’s the last TV show you binge-watched?
The Mentalist! I hadn’t properly seen it before this binge, and I completely devoured it. My dad was not pleased when he returned home from a birdwatching cruise to find out that not only had I discovered who Red John was, but I’d finished the entire series before he got back!

What’s your favourite recipe right now?
Right now, I’m loving Chocolate Covered Katie’s one-minute chocolate mug cake. I’ve been a fan of it since my uni days, and every now and then, I go through phases where it’s all I’m craving. It’s quick, easy, and so satisfying — plus, it’s chocolate, so what’s not to love?

What’s one travel tip you swear by?

If you're flying out of London, book a hotel at the airport. You'll feel like an absolute boss the next day when you're heading down to drop your bags, then heading back to your hotel room to chill with breakfast and coffee that you ordered on the Costa app for pick up.

If you could learn any language instantly, which one would it be?

Honestly, French and Spanish. I spent so long studying it, it would be a point of pride to finally be fluent. 🤣

New from New Hollywood tabloid

Ros Butler, Jackson Levi’s glamorous girlfriend, is launching her own fashion label with none other than Hazel Sanderson—Chris and Mason Sanderson’s elusive sister—as her muse. This bold move comes amid simmering tensions between the Sandersons and The Kings of Screen, making Ros’s debut as much a power play as a fashion statement.
